As part of our Marine Biology co-curricular, a group of students enjoyed a visit to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (OFFICIAL) in Gweek last week.
We were given a tour around the facilities and learnt lots about their resident seals, as well as their rescue and release program. It was great to see such a strong example of local marine conservation and to become more familiar with these animals that we are lucky enough to share our waters with.
This trip has left the students inspired and we will be writing letters in our next session to see if we can make a difference for our local marine life!
