The Social Life of Wasps

By on Oct 12, 2016 in Blog |

This evening we were joined at Nexus by Feargus Cooney, a researcher from the University of Exeter, whose special area of research is the evolution of the social behaviour of wasps. Amazingly, he uses tiny CT-scanners to look at the brains of these wasps to see how their social interactions influence the development of brain structures. A fascinating insight into the lives of these tiny creatures.
