Nexus Students Starting Early With Interview Practice

By on Apr 27, 2018 in Blog |

At Nexus we strongly believe that all students should have the very best chances in life. Part of this means having the best shot at successfully applying to the most prestigious courses at the most elite universities in the world. In order to help our students with their lofty ambitions we today gave them a taste of the Oxbridge interview, giving them some seemingly impossible to answer problems and asking them to think their way through to a reasoned answer.

The students were given mind bending questions such as: “Is a painted window still a window?” and “If you could take a pill which would make you happy all the time, would you?”. These challenges are designed to get students to begin to verbalise their thinking – a key skill in academic interviews.
